We hired Diane to help us with a project that I had spent four years trying to do myself, with no success. After four years, it still didn't look or feel right. I cannot envision things, and our house felt cold and empty.

When we met at our house, Diane walked around and noticed that the house had a formal feel. She also recognized that we are not formal people—we have four kids and a dog and usually live in shorts and T-shirts. She suggested we go a more casual route.

I was forced to completely rely on her, as I cannot envision things, nor did I want to try. She brought materials to our house and showed me her ideas. I had to basically say “I trust you 100%” and basically hope for the best.

The night before Diane came to create our new house I didn’t sleep. I was going back and forth from doubt to glee. It’s dangerous to let you mind wander all night! The next day the first group of movers came with the rugs, then the furniture, then window coverings and the folks who hang mirrors. She not only had this well coordinated, but they were all extremely professional. I felt completely safe the entire time.

At last, I no longer have a cold house, but now have the most beautiful home I could ever have imagined in my wildest dreams. It’s beautiful! Another sleepless night as I couldn’t stop staring and walking around with a huge grin on my face. I now want to invite everyone to my new home. The feel is warm, casual but elegant, and it all flows together.

In a few brief meetings, she had nailed something I could not articulate, or envision. We could not be more pleased, and would highly recommend Diane.
